'ABSTRACT The tourism industry is continuously growing and as several researches have shown, it is providing social connections, and economic growth among both developed and undeveloped countries. This study investigates how an island like North Cyprus that is economically dependent on tourism implement the UN 17 sustainable development goals and how they collaborate among themselves. Using qualitative research method and structure questions towards tourism stakeholders from different sectors (tour guides, hotels, travel agency, restaurants and government) in North Cyprus investigating their collaboration, and their implementation of the UN 17 sustainable development goals in their different tourism organization. 19 respondents were interviewed between 30 to 45 minutes. The results of the study showed that not all of the UN 17 sustainable development goals are achieved in North Cyprus and lack of understanding of sustainable development goals, and no proper collaboration among the different tourism stakeholders showed to be major factors that affects the tourism stakeholders in North Cyprus from achieving the UN 17 sustainable development goals.
