520 _aÖZET Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Milli Eğitim ve Kültür Bakanlığı tarafından belirlenen yasalar çerçevesinde öğrencilerin iyi birer vatandaş olmaları için gerekli olan temel bilgi, beceri, tutum ve alışkanlıkları kazanmaları hedeflenmektedir. Onları milli ahlak anlayışına yaraşır biçimde geliştirmek, ilgi ve yetenekleri yönünden yetiştirerek hayata ve üst öğrenime hazırlama ilkesi yer almaktadır.Bu ilke öğrencilerin olumlu sosyal davranışlar kazanmasıyla yakından ilişkilidir. Eğer ki bir sosyal devlet genç nesillere bu tür tutumları kazandırmayı amaç olarak yasa ve yönetmeliklerine eklemişse, bu tutumların kazandırılmasında ergenlik dönemi büyük önem taşıdığından genç neslin sosyal davranış tutumları ile ilişkili olan unsurların ortaya çıkarılması önem teşkil etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada ortaöğretim öğrencilerinde kariyer kararlılığının olumlu sosyal davranışlarla olan ilişkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada betimsel nitelikli ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2021-2022 eğitim yılı Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Lefkoşa kazasında yer alan tüm ortaöğretim öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise 2021-2022 eğitim yılında Lefkoşa'da bulunan ve araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak belirlenen bir fen lisesi, bir endüstri meslek lisesi, bir düz lise, bir anadolu lisesi ve bir ilahiyat koleji olmak üzere beş farklı lisede eğitim almakta olan 306 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veriler çevrimiçi olarak toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Kariyer Kararlılığı Ölçeği, Olumlu Sosyal Davranış Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Demografik Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Kodlama ve analizde "IBM SPSS Ver.25" paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Analizlerde t-testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek için Korelâsyon analizi yapılmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi olarak P<0,05 değeri kabul edilmiştir. Elde edilenbulgulara göre; erkek öğrenciler kız öğrencilere kıyasla daha yüksek düzeyde olumlu sosyal davranışa sahiptir. Scheffe analizi sonucuna göre babasının eğitim durumu lise olan öğrencilerin kariyer kararlılığı, babasının eğitim durumu ilkokul-ortaokul olan öğrencilere göre anlamlı düzeyde fazladır. Yapılan Pearson Korelasyon analizi sonucuna göre ise kariyer karalılığı değişkeni ile olumlu sosyal davranış değişkeni arasında pozitif yönde düşük düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulardan, öğrencilerin kariyer kararlılığının olumlu sosyal davranışları ile ilişkisi olduğu söylenebilir. Buna göre, kariyer kararlılığında ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin desteklenmesinin olumlu sosyal davranış geliştirmeleri ile olan ilişkisinin önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
520 _aABSTRACT It is aimed that students acquire the basic knowledge, skills, attitudes and habits necessary for them to be good citizens within the scope of the laws determined by the Ministry of National Education and Culture of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The principle of preparing them for life and higher education by raising them in terms of their interests and abilities is included in the principle of developing them in accordance with the understanding of national morality.This principle is directly related to the acquisition of positive social behaviors by students. If a social state has added such attitudes to young generations as a goal, it is important to reveal the factors that affect the social behavior attitudes of the young generation, since the adolescence period is of great importance in gaining these attitudes.In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between career determination and prosocial behaviors in secondary school students. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of career determination on prosocial behaviors in secondary education students.A descriptive relational survey model was used in the research. The universe of the research consists of all secondary school students in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Nicosia district in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample consists of 306 students studying at five different types of high schools in Nicosia in the 2021-2022 academic year, which are determined in accordance with the purpose of the research, high school, industrial vocational high school, anatolian high school, Turkish high school and theology college constitutes students. Data were collected online. Career Determination Scale, Positive Social Behavior Scale and Demographic Information Form prepared by the researcher were used as data collection tools. "IBM SPSS Ver.25" package program was used for coding and analysis. In analysis T-test and ANOVA test was used to determine whether there was a difference in the variables consisting of more than two groups. In addition, correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the variables. A value of P<0.05 was accepted as the level of significance. One of the first findings of the research is that, according to T-test Analysis, female students have more positive social behaviors than male students. According to the results of the Scheffe analysis, the career determination of the students whose father's education level is high school is significantly higher than the students whose father's education level is primary-secondary school. According to the results of the Pearson Correlation analysis, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between the career stability variable and the prosocial behavior variable. From the findings, it can be said that students' having positive social behaviors has an effect on their career determination. Accordingly, it is thought that supporting secondary school students in career choice and career determination has an important effect on their positive social behavior development.
