520 _a2 ABSTRACT The impact of information technology on management development in the federal ministry of labor was examined in this thesis research. This research is an innovative study that is designed in search of an answer that asked if the use of information technology systems can contribute to, or impact skills and certification, or how management development has contributed to the managerial aspect of skills in the ministry of labor. This study was carried out in other to examine information technology systems, management development employee/director skills, and certification. The Employees Interest, Employee behavior, Employees Performance, Employees Feedbacks, and Director Evaluation were joined to the TAM model to examine the efficiency and importance of information technology on skills certification. Information technology was stated as a means to enhance productivity and make the paperwork easy in offices. Furthermore, in other to get more clarification on how employees understand the use of information technology a questionnaire method was distributed to obtain data from the employees and director. 100 employees including directors in the skills and certification department were surveyed. A statistical package for social science (SPSS) was used to analyze the returned data. The main goal of carrying out the survey was to get employees' ideas on information technology on how it has helped in their day-to-day activities at the office and also contributed to their skills. The findings and results on the questionnaire have a high positive and significant impact on skills certification.
