520 _aABSTRACT Pesticides are known as chemical substances, biological agents, or antimicrobials whose use dates back to ancient times to destroy or control weeds, harmful organisms, and living things. The presence of pests that cause diseases and reduce food production efficiency necessitated the use of pesticides. Pesticides cause acute and chronic health problems. Also, apart from human health, they pose a severe threat to water, soil, and the ecosystem due to their persistence. For this reason, pesticide controls are pretty significant both the public people and countries. The reports, laws, analysis results, and analysis methods of Germany, the United States of America (the USA), Turkey, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (the TRNC) were examined using secondary data, and some numerical data are shown with graphs in this study. In addition, information has been given about the harms of pesticides, their effects on human health, and analytic methods. Comparing the collected data with the TRNC will be a beneficial step for the TRNC in terms of improving pesticide studies, public awareness, and food safety. The results of the study concluded that the TRNC shares the analysis results annually and weekly, but if Germany and the USA reports are taken as a model, it will be more effective in informing the public and improving the country's studies. In addition, it was concluded that the TRNC has common analysis methods with other countries examined, and there are some irregularities in the weekly analysis results.
