520			_aABSTRACT It is very important to use different teaching techniques in order to bring students to a better level in the education and training process. Creative Drama Method, one of the teaching techniques, has an important place in this context. The main purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of English Teachers working in TRNC Secondary Education Public Schools about Creative Drama Method. The sample of the research consists of English Teachers working in the TRNC Secondary Education Public Schools in 2021-2022. 61 Secondary Education English Teachers participated in the study voluntarily. In the first part of the survey questions, 3 different demographic questions were prepared for the participants prepared by the researcher, and in the second part, 5 semi-structured open-ended questions were prepared to examine their perceptions and opinions. In this direction, Qualitative Research Method and One-toOne Interview Method were used. The analyses of the data were interpreted with the SPSS 26 program and the Descriptive Analysis Method in line with the answers received, together with the code and theme method. According to the results obtained in the research, the perceptions and thoughts of the Secondary Education English Teachers working in the TRNC Public Schools are quite effective on the use of drama. They also explained that creative drama has an effect on the development of students' language skills. Secondary School English Teachers working in TRNC Public Schools mostly use creative drama techniques such as role-play, improvisation, miming, mirroring hot seats, drawing, and storytelling in their English lessons. In addition, they stated that the reasons for the secondary education English teachers working in the TRNC Public Schools to define themselves as ineffective creative drama users are the intensive curriculum, lack of time and the physical conditions of the classrooms. 520			_aÖZET Eğitim ve öğretim sürecinde öğrencilerin daha iyi bir seviyeye gelmesi açısından farklı öğretim teknikleri kullanmak oldukça önemlidir. Öğretim tekniklerinden biri olan Yaratıcı Drama Yöntemi bu bağlamda önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmanın ana amacı KKTC Ortaöğretim Devlet Okullarında görev yapan İngilizce Öğretmenlerinin Yaratıcı Drama Yöntemine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2021-2022 KKTC Ortaöğretim Devlet Okullarında görev yapan İngilizce Öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. 61 Ortaöğretim İngilizce Öğretmeni gönüllü olarak çalışmaya katılmıştır. Anket sorularının ilk kısmında araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan katılımcılar için 3 ayrı demografik sorular, ikinci kısmında ise algı ve görüşlerinin incelenmesi için 5 ayrı yarı-yapılandırılmış açık uçlu sorular hazırlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda Nitel Araştırma Yöntemi ve birebir Görüşme Yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizleri alınan cevaplar doğrultusunda SPSS 26 programı ve Betimleyici Analiz Yöntemi ile kod ve tema yöntemiyle beraber yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre KKTC Devlet Okullarında görev yapan Ortaöğretim İngilizce Öğretmenlerinin drama kullanımına yönelik algı ve düşünceleri oldukça etkili olduğu yönündedir. Ayrıca yaratıcı dramanın öğrencilerin dil becerilerinin gelişimi üzerine etkisi olduğunu açıklamışlardır. KKTC Devlet Okullarında görev yapan Ortaöğretim İngilizce Öğretmenlerinin İngilizce derslerinde çoğunlukla role-play, improvisation, miming, mirroring hot seat, drawing, storytelling gibi yaratıcı drama tekniklerinden yararlanmaktadır. Ayrıca KKTC Devlet Okullarında görev yapan Ortaöğretim İngilizce Öğretmenlerinin kendilerini etkili olmayan bir yaratıcı drama kullanıcısı olarak tanımlamasının sebeplerini, yoğun müfredat, zaman eksikliği ve sınıfların fiziki koşulları olarak belirtmişlerdir.
