520 _aABSTRACT The construction industry is one of the most dangerous sector in the world, and special efforts are needed to decrease occupational accidents on construction sites. Northern Cyprus is in the process of development. The construction industry, is one of the most important in all sector the world, particularly in Northern Cyprus.It has a strong employment potential and a variety of subsectors. Furthermore, it has been one of the fastest expanding industries in Northern Cyprus in recent years. Because of its nature, the construction industry has high risk potential. Every year, many incidents occur on construction sites, and the vulnerability of construction site health and safety sometimes results in the loss of life or injuries. This study takes into account the analysis of the official data from labor department the year of 2014 to 13 October 2021. This study shed a good light on global health and safety improvements. The purpose of this study is to examine accidents on the basis of all sectors and on the basis of the construction sector.Using Spss, it will be analyzed whether the accident data are related to each other. This system identifies dangerous construction elements that could lead to falls from high levels and suggests safer design alternatives. 520 _aÖZET İşçi Sağlığı ve İş Güvenliği (İSİG) bakımından dünya genelinde kazalar ile ilgili çalışmlar yapılmakta ve güvenlik durumu arttırılması için çalışmalar yapılmaktadır.KKTC ‘de kaza rapaorları çalışma dairesi tarafından ‘’İŞ KAZASI,MESLEK HASTALIĞI VEYA TEHLİKELİ OLAY TAHKİKAT FORMU’’adındaki düzenlenmiş olan formlar ile arşivlenmekte.Çalışma dairesinden gerekli izinler alınarak hard copy olarak tutulan raporların fotoğrafları çekilerek, soft copy haline getirildi.Veriler kendi içlerinde analiz edildikten sonra veriler arasında tablolar oluşturulup birbirleri arasında bağlantılı olup olmadığı inceledi.Bağlantılı olabileceği düşünülen veriler için hipotezler yazıldı.Hipotezlerin doğruluğunu test etmek için SPSS testinde analiz edildi.SPSS testinde verilerimiz evrenselleştirilmediği için non-parametrik olarak chi-square testi yapıldı.Ve hipotezler sonuçlandırıldı.
