Notwithstanding, owing to the actions of these terrorist groups/organizations, they will at large incapacitate the ability of a state to render services that will guarantee citizens’ wellbeing as well as security. adopting Boko Haram as a test case, an organization that has been in existence for over 20 years, the study concentrates on their destructive activities such as the Madalla Christmas Day bombing of a church in the Northern part of the country, and how it has, economically, psychologically, and socially impacted the world in general. Moreover, for the goal of the research to be accomplished, the study adopted qualitative research to examine the subject of this research. The theory of Realism was adopted in the context of theoretical framework, Contingent upon the findings, the study concludes that bad elements within some states bring together as well as promote terror networks customarily for short term reasons and the moment they are no longer beneficial, they are disposed, even though at times doing away with such terrorist network is not the stress-free task.
