520 _aABSTRACT Organizations constantly seek methods to enhance creativity and innovation in today's highly competitive business world. Transformational leadership has been deemed to be an effective leadership style capable of improving employee creative and innovative ability which is often a result of a high level of employee motivation and job satisfaction. This study investigates the relationship between transformational leadership style, employees’ motivation, and job satisfaction, with emotional intelligence playing a moderating role in this relationship. A quantitative research method was used, and Primary data was collected using an online survey. The target population was 213 employees working in a printing and Publishing firm in Nigeria. 157 employees partook in this survey, giving us a response rate of 73.7%. After exporting data from Excel and analyzing using SPSS, the result showed that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and employee motivation and job satisfaction, and emotional intelligence does not moderate this relationship. Although emotional intelligence has a moderately positive impact on job satisfaction with a beta weight (β) of .332*** which is statistically significant, the interaction term of transformational leadership style with emotional intelligence has a very weak negative impact on job satisfaction that is not significant statistically (β=-0.020, t=- .330, p= 0.742< .05). The sample size was small and restricted to a geographical location, the study also collected data from four branches of the same organization (FJWASA), Future researchers might consider conducting this research across different demographic regions and ethnic groups using different leadership styles. Researchers should also consider other possible moderating factors like the employees’ job position, job autonomy, and income level which may influence their level of motivation and job satisfaction. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Employee Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Leadership Styles, Transformational Leadership.
