The study adopted the Resource-Based View theory as the chosen theoretical framework. Being that the study is premised upon the positivism research philosophy, quantitative research method was used. Data were collected via electronic questionnaires from a sample of 364 senior staff and managers of manufacturing firms in North Cyprus, and analysed using both descriptive statistics (frequencies and percentages) and inferential statistics such as simple and multiple linear regression and mediation analysis via SPSS version 26. The findings reveal a significant and positive influence of EMPs on TIP, emphasizing the strategic importance of integrating environmentally conscious practices for fostering innovation. Similarly, the study underscores the pivotal role of SCI in positively shaping TIP, highlighting the benefits of collaborative efforts with both customers and suppliers. Furthermore, the interconnectedness between EMPs and SCI is affirmed, showcasing a synergy where environmentally conscious organizations are more likely to integrate sustainability considerations into their supply chain processes. Intriguingly, while SCI exhibits a significant mediating effect, it is found to be partial, indicating that other factors beyond supply chain integration contribute to the relationship between EMPs and TIP. The study concludes with recommendations for organizations to enhance EMPs, strengthen collaborative SCI, and adopt holistic environmental and supply chain strategies. These findings contribute to the understanding of sustainable practices and collaborative supply chain efforts, providing a roadmap for organizations seeking to navigate the complexities of environmental responsibility and innovation in the manufacturing industry. | ||
