Transformational leadership helps reduce turnover intentions in an organization where employees are motivated, given feedback, and encouraged. The study aimed to find the mediating role of creative behavior on the relationship between transformational leadership and turnover intention among employees in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. The study used the Cochran sample size to determine the sample and 384 questionnaires were distributed to the employees of 16 oil and gas companies in Nigeria. Of the total number of questionnaires distributed, only 356 were retrieved, giving a response rate of 92.71%. The study used the convenience sampling technique to select all the respondents. The collected data were analyzed using path analysis. The statistical software used for the analysis was SPSS and AMOS. The path analysis found that transformational leadership exhibits a negative and statistically significant impact on turnover intention.
