520 _aThis study aims to discover the perceptions of teachers and students in Oman. The study used a correlational methodology, involving the participation of one hundred students and seventy teachers from different schools in Oman. This study investigates the views of participants on translanguaging, including its extensive utilization and the perceived influence on academic achievement. Data collection is performed by employing closed-ended questionnaires that include Likert scales. The findings indicate that a large proportion of persons have favourable attitudes toward translanguaging. This is supported by the fact that 82.9% of participants expressed their belief in its effectiveness as a teaching method, and 88% reported using this approach frequently. This study investigates the occurrence of codeswitching, the practice of alternating between Arabic and English languages, in English schools. The findings duration a wide selection of behaviours and attitudes. Participants hold diverse perspectives on the professional advantages of translanguaging, its support in education, and its influence on academic accomplishments. The study's findings indicate a generally positive attitude towards translanguaging in Oman, suggesting that this approach has the potential to be a useful educational tool. After completing the study, there are important consequences for educators and legislators, as well as prospective opportunities for future research. The study is recognized to have many constraints, emphasizing the necessity for more research on translanguaging in different educational locations.
