520 _aTechnological innovations characterized by the development of digital tools have brought complex changes that affect both lifestyle and working procedures in the professional and industrial environments. As humans are the center of all technological developments, it is important to explore from their perspective the way they perceive it, as well as the benefits and disadvantages. The work investigates quality management within the context of industry 4.0 focusing on employees’ opinions. The study conducted in the city of Lubumbashi on the southern part of The Democratic Republic of Congo involved gathering information from 403 individuals with experience in both quality management and industry 4.0. SMART PLS and IBM SPSS software were used for Data analysis and research hypothesis tests, and the positive impact of industry 4.0 adoption on quality management is demonstrated based on hypotheses test. The result underlines primarily the necessity for companies to readjust the traditional quality management principles and align them to the modernization. Secondly, investments in training and the promotion of continuous learning culture to upgrade employee’s knowledge as these new tools require various skills. Thirdly, it underlines the need to join in with the decision-making employees’ opinions as they are the center of production, and their contributions include essential elements concerning improvement of working conditions. Fourthly, the research suggests a progressive implementation to facilitate adaptation thus ensuring effective integration of industry 4.0.
