ABSTRACT
This research study is an investigation to examine transformational leadership influences on perceived organizational performance. Transformational leaders exploit new innovations and opportunities, optimize risks, and create a dynamic working environment to organize and motivate employees towards a common goal. Such leadership has been regarded as an effective development approach to attain higher
organizational performance. The goal of this study is to highlight the effect of transformational leadership style on perceived organizational performance and the moderating role of organizational agility. My independent variable for this research is transformational leadership style and dependent variable of this is perceived organizational performance and moderating variables is organizational agility. For this research the study focuses on managers both middle and senior. The data gathering instrument are questionnaires, using the likert scare which are used to collect primary information. This study is only limited to private and public sectors in both IT and non-IT related companies in Enugu, Enugu state Nigeria and the sample size of 357
with 302 participants for this study. A quantitative research method and sampling design is non-probability, and the sampling technique used in this research is Purposively sampling. SPSS software was used to generate research statistics. The correlation and regression analysis were run to find the effect of transformational leadership style on Perceived organizational performance. The findings of this
research from the two-hypothesis developed were both supported, and also there is a positive impact of transformational leadership style on Perceived performance. As it is showing the positive impact, therefore, the influence of transformational leadership on perceived organizational performance in Nigeria manufacturing industries is moderated by organizational Agility.
