Özet notu ABSTRACT<br/>This research highlights the relationship that exists between motivation and <br/>employee’s performance and how it impacts the performance of an employee in the <br/>Organization. For the purpose of employee performance samples of respondents are <br/>selected. Motivational factors like salary increment helps to strengthen employees’ <br/>performance, resolve problems affecting employees output quickly and effectively, <br/>leads to greater levels of productivity and creativity, improves commitment and <br/>communication, reduces absenteeism and turnover, leads to collaboration, <br/>innovations and new ideas and leads to effective interaction with customers and other <br/>stakeholders. Questions are selected and put in a well-designed questionnaire <br/>consisting of a 4 point rating scale, Factor Analysis is used to reflect crucial factors <br/>that are responsible for the motivation of employees. Findings indicates that <br/>motivation plays a great role in directing employee’s emotion towards performance.<br/>However, data was collected from employees of the same organization and therefore <br/>lack the opportunity to make comparison. A great limitation was the researcher’s<br/>dependency on self-disclose data which lack full study of respondent personality and <br/>characteristics as regards to their performance. It is recommended that managers <br/>should set clear policies, communicate this policies to subordinates as well as reward <br/>employees who maintain the set policy. Managers should provide an anonymous <br/>suggestion box within the organization, this will help subordinate present their <br/>suggestions for company growth with no fear of being sanctioned.<br/>Keywords: Creativity: Employees Performance: Factor Analysis: Interaction:<br/>Motivation.
