As a result, human resource tasks should not be done randomly but should be planned, recorded, and implemented. It is the issue of unstructured human resource management that prompted this study to assess human resource management practices in the Ghana Health Service Institutions in the Pru West District. The exploratory re search design was used in this study, with the qualitative approach being adapted. The primary data sources were utilized. An interview was used to gather primary data on a "one-time" basis. According to the study, GHS has a lot of defined goals and objec tives but is unable to reach them because there are still health facilities that do not have the necessary number of personnel. Their employees received in-service training, ori entation, and general training. The study also revealed that health personnel were sat isfied with their jobs regardless of whether they were motivated or not. Employee re lations were generally satisfactory, but the level of satisfaction varied according to the subject matter. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that GHS, as an institution in the Pru West District, is a well-structured organization whose practices are mostly planned and documented. In tackling the issues of hasty and unstructured HRM, human resource management practices should be adequately planned, recorded, and implemented in accordance with established procedures and strategies. ABSTRACT
Human resource management is critical to the success of institutions and organizations. As a result, human resource tasks should not be done randomly but should be
planned, recorded, and implemented. It is the issue of unstructured human resource
management that prompted this study to assess human resource management practices
in the Ghana Health Service Institutions in the Pru West District. The exploratory re search design was used in this study, with the qualitative approach being adapted. The
primary data sources were utilized. An interview was used to gather primary data on
a "one-time" basis. According to the study, GHS has a lot of defined goals and objec tives but is unable to reach them because there are still health facilities that do not have
the necessary number of personnel. Their employees received in-service training, ori entation, and general training. The study also revealed that health personnel were sat isfied with their jobs regardless of whether they were motivated or not. Employee re lations were generally satisfactory, but the level of satisfaction varied according to the
subject matter. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that GHS, as
an institution in the Pru West District, is a well-structured organization whose practices
are mostly planned and documented. In tackling the issues of hasty and unstructured
HRM, human resource management practices should be adequately planned, recorded,
and implemented in accordance with established procedures and strategies.
