Konu(lar): Tez notu: Thesis (MBA) - Cyprus International University. Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Business Administration Özet: The purpose of this research is to observe different styles of leadership and to assess the relationship between employee well-being and these different styles of leadership namely democratic, authoritarian and laissez faire. This research also aims to deliver a full understanding of these different leadership styles and possibly help provide understanding as to which style is more effective in regards to worker well-being in the workplace. Two hundred and fifty eight bankers from three prominent banks in Nigeria contributed in the research. The questionnaire consisted of 35 questions which measured demographics (designed by researcher), democratic leadership, laisez-faire leadership, authoritarian leadership and employee well-being (the questions were adopted from existing literature.). The study reveals significant insights into the relationships between gender, employee well-being, and various leadership styles. Notably, there is a strong positive correlation among democratic leadership as well as employee well-being as compared to the others, indicating that encouraging democratic practices may improve workers' general well-being. On the other hand, authoritarian leadership has a detrimental consequence on wellbeing, which emphasizes the necessity to reduce such behaviors. A balanced approach is necessary in organizations since laissez-faire leadership has a complex impact and has both good and significant relationships with other leadership styles.
